• Icon of the Mother of God “ARMATIA” 阿尔玛提亚
Σύναξις Ὑπεραγίας Θεοτόκου ἐν τοὶς Ἀρματίου
The Armatia Icon of the Mother of God was located in Constantinople at the Armatian monastery. The place where the monastery was located was called “Armation” or “of the Armatians” and received its name from the military magister Armatias, nephew of the tyrant Basiliscus, and a contemporary of Emperor Zeno. The celebration of the wonderworking icon was established to commemorate deliverance from the Iconoclast heresy. The Seventh Ecumenical Council in 787 drew up dogmatic definitions about icon veneration based on Holy Scripture and Church Tradition. The Armatia Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos is commemorated twice during the year – on July 21 and August 17.

• ANTIMUND of Thérouanne (6th c.) First bishop of Thérouanne in the Artois
Hermit in Gallia Belgica (in modern northern France) in the early 6th century. Priest. Feeling a call to missionary work, and he and a Father Adelbert were sent by St Remigius of Rheims to evangelize the Morini people in the area of modern Picardy, France; this was a people who had received Christianity centuries earlier, but had reverted to their pagan roots. The pagan priests opposed him and supported continued worship of idols, but the people of the region were interested and he converted many. First bishop of Thérouanne in the Artois region of modern France, consecrated by St Remigius. Later invasions wiped out his good work, and in 7th century missionaries to the region had to start all over.

A follower of Jesus, Joseph was probably one of the 72 disciples commissioned by the Lord. Mentioned in Acts as the other candidate for the 12th Apostle's position, the one vacated by Judas Iscariot (Acts 1:23-26). The lot fell to Saint Matthias. In art, Saint Joseph is a bishop holding a cup of poison or a child may hold the cup.

• Venerable ONESIMUS 奥尼息默 the Recluse of the Kiev Caves, in Near Caves of St Anthony (1181)
The Monk Onuphrius the Silent of the Caves (XII-XIII) was an ascetic in the Near Caves of Saint Anthony in the twelfth century. He is also commemorated on October 4, and again on September 28 (Synaxis of the Fathers of the Near Caves). The saint’s holy relics were buried at the place of his ascetic labors.

The Monk Onuphrius the Silent of the Caves was an ascetic in the Near Caves of Saint Anthony in the twelfth century. He is also commemorated on September 28 (Synaxis of the Fathers of the Near Caves).

Ὁ Ἅγιος Παρθένιος Ἐπίσκοπος Ραδοβυσδίου
Bishop, known for his ascetic lifestyle in which he continually gave away all that he had to the poor, and as often as possible withdrew to live as a cowherd in order to have the solitude to spend his days in constant prayer – including praying for the cattle in his care.
